TTUHSC - USP 800: An Overview for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians


The goal of this program is to provide an overview for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians outlining the implementation of USP-800 by defining what constitutes a hazardous agent, recognize risks involved with handling hazardous agents, identifying facility controls to effectively contain hazardous agents and their residue, describe the components of a hazardous communication program, demonstrate competence in techniques used to minimize hazardous exposure, and explain procedures required in the proper handling of hazardous waste and spill containment.

Requirements for CE Credit

To receive credit you must watch the recorded webinar and complete the post-test. You must receive a minumum of 70% on the post-test at which time you will be prompted to complete a program evaluation form.

Individuals will be audited to ensure they select the correct fee type.  Those found to have selected an inappropriate fee type will have their CPE credits removed from their NABP eProfile.
