TTUHSC - Pain Management: Optimizing Multi-Modal Pain Control

The goal of this activity is to familiarize learners with the available pharmacological treatments that exist to treat various chronic and acute pain conditions. This is to include more unique treatments such as supplements. Learners will also review existing data and guidelines that support the use of these treatments. Given the high prevalence of mental health disorders in pain populations, they will also briefly review important concepts related to this such as pain catastrophizing.
